Maesil Syrup (or Japanese Apricot Syrup) is crystallized Japanese apricots. This syrup is used to make juice by mixing it with water (syrup to water ratio of 1:4) or to make tea by adding boiling water (same ratio as juice). Maesil juice or tea is good for detox and to reenergize your body since the citric acid and picric acid in maesil syrup help liver and kidney function better. Maesil syrup is also used as a condiment to sweeten your dish.
