1. Wash & CutGently rinse the tofu under running water. Dry it with kitchen towel. Slice the tofu into rectangles (1¼” X 1½” X ⅜” or 3cm x 4cm x 1cm). You can cut into different sizes as long as the thickness is ⅜” or 1cm. |

2. Add oil and tofuPour 1 tablespoon of the vegetable oil in a pan and add the sliced tofu. Do not preheat the vegetable oil! Water from tofu may make the hot vegetable oil splash all over you!. |

3. PanfryPan-fry the tofu for 2 minutes on high heat for each side. (If you are worried about burning your tofu, do it on LOW heat for 5 min each side. However, tofu will be crispier on high heat.) When it turns golden brown, turn off the heat. |

5. ServePlace the pan-fried tofu on a plate and spoon the seasoning sauce evenly on top. Sprinkle some chile thread (optional). Enjoy! |
