Optional Ingredients and Substitutions
Red and green chili peppers: You can use red and green peppers instead of chili peppers if you don't have them or want something less spicy.
Sesame Seeds: can be omitted.

1. Wash

Wash all the vegetables thoroughly under running water.

Slice onion.

Chop green onion. Slice chili peppers diagonally.

4. Sauté

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a frying pan on medium heat. Add onions and stir-fry it for 1 min.

Preheat a frying pan

5. Add fishcakes

Add fishcakes and sauté for 3 min.

6. Add green onions, chili peppers

Add green onion and chili peppers and sauté for 2 min.

7. Season

Add 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, 1½ tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of gochugaru (red chili flakes) and ¼ teaspoon of black pepper. Sauté on medium heat for another minute.

Hello NataliedeBrujin, This is a side dish itself but since it is made of fish, any vegetable side dish would be good. Happy cooking!
