tips: 
             Optional Ingredients and Substitutions 
Sesame seeds are optional.
Mul Yeot (korean malt syrup) can be replaced with sugar or honey.  If you are using sugar you may want to add 1 tbs of water to thin the paste.

| 1. SautéMix and sauté 2 tbs of gochujang (hot pepper paste), 1 tbs of Mul Yeot (see tips for substitution), 1 tbs sesame oil, ½ tsp of minced garlic on medium heat for about 2 minutes. Stir constantly so it doesn’t stick to the pan. | ||
