2 ozSunflower Seed (Roasted)
2 ozPumpkin Seed (Roasted)
⅓ cupMul Yeot / Malt (Maltose) Syrup 물엿 (or rice syrup or maple syrup)
⅓ cupSugar 설탕
1 tspVegetable Oil 식용유

1. Make syrup

In a small sauce pan, boil mulyeot and sugar on medium heat until melted. *Do not stir.

Boil

  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • ⅓ cup mulyeot

2. Mix nuts

After sugar is melted, add the nuts and seeds. Throughly mix them up with a spatula.

Add

  • 100g pine nut
  • 50g roasted sunflower seed
  • 50g roasted pumpkin seed

3. Form into balls

Rub vegetable oil on plastic gloves to prevent sticking. Form the mixture into bite sized balls (1 inch diameter).

Enjoy! The bites can be store in a sealed bag or container in room temperature.
